Designers at Lazy Faire Magazine create graphics and illustrations for articles and assist the Lead Designer in developing the Style Guide for the Magazine. They also collaborate with the Lead Designer and Creative Director to ensure a cohesive visual identity across all platforms.
It is important to note that the position of Lead Designer will rotate every issue, giving all designers the role of Lead Designer. You will then be leading the design process for one issue, with the support of the Creative Director and other designers.
Responsibilities:
Visual Design: Create visually appealing and engaging designs for Lazy Faire
Magazine's print and digital content, including articles, advertisements, social
media graphics, and promotional materials.
Brand Consistency for Magazine and Companies: Ensure all designs align with
the magazine's brand guidelines, paying special attention to featured company
brand guidelines, and maintaining a consistent visual identity across all channels
and mediums.
Collaboration: Work closely with the editorial, marketing, and events teams to
understand their design needs and deliver creative solutions that support their
objectives.
Design Revisions: Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders,
making revisions to designs as needed to achieve the desired outcome.
Creative Input: Contribute ideas and suggestions for new design concepts,
staying informed of industry trends and best practices to help keep Lazy Faire
Magazine's visual content fresh and relevant.
Time Management: Manage multiple design projects and deadlines, ensuring
timely delivery of high-quality work.
