Arts Habitat's latest art spaces, ArtsHub Creative Studios and Ortona, unique and dynamic arts facilities designed to support and nurture professional artists, not-for-profit professional arts organizations, and the greater Edmonton arts community. Arts Habitat Edmonton is currently accepting applications for the state-of-the-art Project Studios and Offices!

Creative Studios is located at 10131-97 Street NW with a mix of professional artists and not-for-profits.

Ortona is located in Edmonton's Rossdale neighborhood providing broad access to art space, fostering arts collaboration, and encouraging the professional artists and not-for-profit professional arts organizations occupying the space to welcome the greater community to visit, explore, and participate within its doors.

The Project Studio application deadline is July 19th, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. however, you can still apply for this, but it will be a first come first serve basis! About Us: 

The LEGO Group is looking for talented students to join our amazing teams and contribute to the magic of play. As a LEGO Design Intern, you'll be part of an amazing organization that values creativity, innovation, and imagination. Our internships last for 4 months and provide a hands-on experience. You'll learn and grow while helping design and create our iconic products and experiences.

Internship Eligibility: 

  • Open to students worldwide from any design-related field with a strong creative passion.  

  • Internships must count toward your educational program.

  • Spring Internship (March-June): Apply by October 1st of the previous year.  

  • Autumn Internship (August-November): Apply by March 1st.  

• Submit a portfolio showcasing what you're passionate about, your CV and a cover letter.

The internship happens in Billund, Denmark. In Billund, you'll join over 500 enthusiastic LEGO Design colleagues who love play. As an intern you'll have the opportunity to live with fellow interns, building strong connections. 

Your internship program: 

Personal growth and teamwork are key to our success. In a dedicated onboarding program, you will get up to speed with the LEGO way of working. You will join one of our teams and with a mentor's guidance, you'll learn about product development at LEGO, surrounded by a mix of skills. BEVISIONEERS: Opportunity for Young Eco-innovators

Applications for the 2024 - 2025 beVisioneers Fellowship are now officially open. We are reaching out to the entire DO Community to help spread the word! We truly appreciate you sharing this widely with your network to make this unique opportunity available to as many talented candidates as possible - especially those you might not otherwise have such opportunities. As a valued member of the DO Community, you can also nominate candidates that you think particularly highly of.

What is beVisionners?

beVisioneers is the biggest global environmental fellowship for young environmental innovators. At the core of their offering is a 12-month hybrid-learning program that focuses on the implementation of each fellow's project, providing them with the training, expert support they need to turn their ideas into reality.   

What is the selection criteria?

To be considered for the beVisioneers fellowship, applicants must apply with an idea for a sustainability project, or already have a sustainability project in the form of a prototype. This year, 500 young eco-innovators aged 16-28 years old will be selected. For this cohort, applications are accepted from the EU, India, Kenya, Mexico, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland Uganda, United Kingdom and USA.
